From our founders’ 70 years combined working experience at traditional consulting firms across the world, we have concluded that the traditional consulting model is broken. It is inappropriate. And it is inaccessible to the companies which have the greatest influence on Thailand’s economy: the SMEs, startups, and new ventures in larger companies.

With that in mind, we set up Zanas MacKenzie. A consulting partnership which shares risks and rewards with our client and diverse partner ecosystem. Our aim is to provide the helping hand the SMEs, startups, and new ventures in larger companies need using our model called

Patriek Zanas

Co-founder and Managing Director

Patriek has more than 30 years of working with consulting and technology giants (Andersen, Unisys, IBM) and start-ups in many industries across three continents. He has been in Asia since 2005. First in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Since 2012, he lives and works in Thailand, with extensive work experience and responsibility for South East Asia.

As a result of all of these experiences, Patriek’s passion for helping companies embrace and benefit from change led him to create a new company with a unique approach to unlocking value.

Patriek focuses on operational strategy and change management. He obsesses about delivering value from within through business transformation and integration. At Zanas MacKenzie, Patriek is primarily responsible for business strategy and business development.

Iain MacKenzie Hackett

Co-founder and Managing Director

Originally from Scotland, Iain has spent the last 35 years working with companies as diverse as IBM, The Boeing Company, AT&T, British Telecom, and small family businesses to help them be better at what they do. And become self-sufficient as they do it. He has worked across three continents – US, Europe, and Asia.

For the past 15 years in Thailand, Iain’s greatest joy has been working with young leaders to help them first see, and then unlock their passion, skill and talent.  Every day, Iain dedicates his time at Zanas MacKenzie to enablement and communication, which he believes are key to growth and awakening in most modern companies.
